If the Piraeus team is higher in the standings and takes advantage of the free space, the Donetsk club will start from the 4th qualifying round, and not from the 2nd quarter of the Champions League (provided that all other rivals are eliminated).
It is also fundamentally important for the miners to maintain their advantage over other pursuers in the rankings, as Ferencvaros (45,250), PAOK (44,250), Dinamo Zagreb (44,000), RB Salzburg (44,000), Crvena Zvezda (41,000), Qarabag (40,000) and Celtic (40,000) have chances. Victory in the Ukrainian championship, combined with a successful performance in the Conference League, could ensure Shakhtar’s direct qualification to the main round of the 2026/27 Champions League without qualifying.

Following the repeated use of pyrotechnics in the South Stand during home matches in the UEFA Champions League, Bayern were fined €50,000 by the UEFA Disciplinary Commission and the partial closure of the Allianz Arena (sectors 111–114) for the club’s next home match in European competition. The previously imposed suspended penalty will come into force after the incident in the match against Sporting Lisbon on 9 December 2025 and will be applied in the next home match against Union Saint-Gilloise on 21 January.
As tickets are not allocated to blocks during Bayern home matches in the lower tier of the South Stand and all 9,336 tickets for blocks 109-117 are valid, the club cannot technically cancel only 4,800 tickets for blocks 111-114. Therefore, as a first step, all South Stand tickets will be canceled and the club will refund the ticket price to the relevant buyers. All South Stand tickets will therefore be void and will not entitle you to a match against Saint-Gilloise at the Allianz Arena.
Ticket cancellations will be made on Friday. 109-110 and 115-117. In case of resale of seats in the blocks, Bayern will inform you about further actions and organizational details in a timely manner.
