Ancelotti: ‘I’m not worried about the final, Liverpool struggled more than us’
Carlo Ancelotti said he wasn’t worried about the Champions League final against Liverpool, stressing he wanted to enjoy the game but noting the Reds had a more difficult program than Real.
On May 28, Real and Liverpool battle it out for the Champions League trophy, with Carlo Ancelotti insisting he’s not worried about the big night.
The ‘Merenges’ coach claimed that the most important thing is that the teams enjoy the final, but avoided commenting on the reports that there was a verbal agreement between Killian Ebape and the team.
“We can’t forget the Champions League final. It’s normal to be nervous when it comes to playing against a strong side like Liverpool, but we’re happy. I’m not worried, I’m happy to be there to be where many others would like to be.” World football and we need to enjoy it.
Liverpool have had more difficulties than us lately, they play very important games to try and win the Premier League but I don’t think that will affect them. In the end, however, both teams will live at the same time. We won the league, they won the English Cup. We were both happy
We are looking forward to the Champions League final. We all think the same thing: winning the 14th. We are not affected by what is written about transfers. We are very focused and the atmosphere is very good. The motivation and enthusiasm is great.”
