The money Olympiacos, PAOK and AEK received from European competitions in the 2020/21 season
UEFA has published the financial report for the 2020/21 season, based on which it has revealed the amounts received from Olympiacos, PAOK and AEK from their participation in the Champions League and Europa League.
As is usual at the time, UEFA announced how the money was distributed to the teams participating in the 2020/21 season in European competitions. This is how the money was earned that the Greek teams received through their participation in the Champions League and Europa League.
Olympiakos had competed in the groups of Europe’s top interclub competition, reached the knockout stages of the Europa League and were knocked out by Arsenal in the round of 16.
The red and white from the Champions League received a total of 34,927,000 euros. Analyzing this figure, she received 15,250,000 from her participation in the groups alone, 15,512,000 from the Greece rankings and 2,662,000 from the market pool. From his results in the groups, he flushed 2,937,000 euros into his coffers. Of this, 1,434,000 was deducted for the cost of the coronavirus and the ECA.
To this amount was added the money of his presence in the Europa League, which amounted to 3,752,000. Cumulatively from Europe, Olympiacos received the 2020/21 season 38,679,000 euros.
The money from PAOK and AEK
PAOK was eliminated from Krasnodar in the Champions League playoffs and took 3rd place in the Europa League group. Dikefalos received €5,087,000 for his presence in Europe’s premier inter-club competition.
In the Europa League groups, he invested 2,920,000 euros from his participation, 2,500,000 euros from the Greece rankings, 2,991,000 euros from the market pool and 1,182,000 from the results. Along with the Champions League money, Dikefalos won 14,350.00 euros in the 2020/21 season.
