Champions League
UEFA has threatened to sue a pizzeria that has a Champions League pizza
A German restaurant was inspired to name its dish… Champignons League, and this fact even prompted UEFA to consider the court’s solution until the two sides’ reconciliation finally takes place.
Is it possible that the name of a dish in a German pizzeria in Frankfurt could cause a stir and raise alarms among an entire European giant like UEFA?
And yet that’s how it is when this piano is reminiscent of the Champions League, which of course is the product that the European Football Association sells all over the world and doesn’t want anyone else to benefit from it.
This is the dish called “Champignons League” which contains mozzarella and mushrooms, which means “The Mushroom League” in German, but the people at UEFA are getting to the point of considering legal action to protect their own football product.
Although they had even sent out a letter informing the people of the small pizzeria of the intended action, it was eventually finalized with the federation’s final decision not to move legally and to leave the matter as it is.
“Apparently some people have inflated the subject. It seems like this is a case of a local brand agent who showed great zeal and acted very hastily. The Champions League can live well alongside that pizza with a delicious sound.”
It should be noted that this pizzeria restaurant called Pizza Wolke specializes in ice pizzas and even sells them in 2,000 supermarkets in Germany, of which 300,000 have been sold since December 2020.
Such was the success that the owners decided to build another industrial unit to meet the enormous consumer demand for the specific pizzas.
