Lucescu: “The situation is reversible, we will win in Toumba”
Despite PAOK’s 1-0 defeat by Midtjylland, Razvan Lucescu believes his team will tip the score and qualify in Toumba.
Speaking on camera for COSMOTE TV, Razvan Lucescu expressed confidence that PAOK will qualify despite their 1-0 defeat by Midland in Denmark. The Romanian spoke of a reversible result, noting that he now knows more about his opponent.
“It was a balanced game against a strong team with good ball circulation. In the first minutes we respected our opponent more than we should.
After the goal phase the game was even, from then on in the second half it was an even game again, we had our chances and in the end I think a draw would be the fairest result.
I definitely think it’s a reversible situation, we have to win the second game and we’re going to do that. We will have our fans on our side, so it will be more difficult for our opponent. “We now have more information about our opponent, so we know exactly what to do.”
