Paschalakis on penalties: “You do an analysis, but the feeling is also important”
Alexandros Paschalakis referred to the first penalty caught in the psychedelic process in his statements following PAOK’s qualifiers against Midland.
PAOK defeated Midtjylland 5-3 on penalties and qualified for the 16 of the Conference League. Paschalakis, who intercepted the first penalty, stressed that in addition to analysis, he also needed a feeling for defence. When asked if his team would celebrate today, he said yes.
The statements of Paschalakis in detail:
“In these cases you have to analyze, but it’s also the feeling of the last minute. We worked hard for penalties. The result was fluid. You never know. We have to be prepared for everything. Everything went well.
It is the intensity of the moment, the work of the past few days. Sometimes you can do the opposite, but it worked for us. Thank God everything is fine. Having port 4 behind us was an advantage. It’s a historic qualifier for the club but every player sees it differently. We’ll end up making a fund. The job is the same.”
For him, if they’re going to celebrate: “We’re going to do something, we take our commitments seriously, but today we’re doing a sideline.”
