Problems accumulated in PAOK with regard to Gent, thoughts of Lutsescu

The last training session in Toumba is an opportunity for the final tests of Razvan Lucescu in PAOK and will clear the field for the eleven who will fight for qualification in Belgium.

PAOK will conclude their preparation for the game against Gent with more problems than Razvan Lutsescu expected on Wednesday morning (16/3) on Greek soil.

It was clear to the Romanian coach from the first game that neither Jasmine Kurtic nor Andrija Zivkovic would be available in Belgium due to tickets. After the game against PAS he also lost the injured Giannis Michailidis and as everything shows he will not have Omar El Kantouri with him in Ghent.

The PAOK coach decided not to take the opportunity to train his team at his opponent’s home and will complete his final tests in Toumba.

Lutsescu’s “riddle”

What’s actually not entirely clear is who will replace Andrija Zivkovic on the right side of the bicep attack. Thomas Murg seems like the most likely choice, unless Lutsescu decides to resort to… alchemy to fill the gap in Serb, something he’s not used to. The Austrian started the game with PAS to find rhythm ahead of the game against Gent. However, the fact that there was a change at half-time shows that his coach was probably not satisfied.

As for “Anti-Kurtic”, as it turns out, he will be Stefan Swab. The Austrian is the safest choice for Razvan Lucescu to be the central midfield duo alongside Tsigaras and any other decision is likely to come as a surprise.

The possible possibility that Omar El Kaddouri will not travel to Belgium tilts the dates, at least according to the Romanian coach’s original interpretation. Who would have thought that the Moroccan would start off the bench against Gent and Diego Biseswar, who started against PAS. Without Kantouri, Surinamezos will write another participation as a key player unless Mitritsa is an alternative for the biceps coach.

After the last training in Toumba and the announcement of the assignment for Belgium, it is becoming clearer for the biceps coach’s plans. One thing is certain, whoever starts in the starting XI will not change the Romanian philosophy and PAOK, who qualified with two results, will also be in contention for victory in Belgium.
