Lucescu: “We want to dominate the tournaments we play”
Razvan Lucescu spoke about the faith and confidence of his team, which got the ticket to the “8” of the Conference League.
PAOK beat Gent for the second time and secured a ticket to the ‘8’ of the Conference League, for the first time in history at such an advanced stage of a European tournament.
Razvan Lucescu had every reason to be satisfied with both the performance and the result (see qualification), explained the Dikefalos coach after the end of the game:
“We’ve discussed some regular themes, about confidence in ball management and loyalty, real loyalty. Being here, we deserved to qualify. Psychology is part of my job, beyond the tactical approach. It’s important to strengthen that part of the mentality, we want to dominate the tournaments that we play.
