The win over Gent in Belgium was PAOK’s 80th in UEFA competition, with Razvan Lucescu now the most-attended biceps coach in Europe.

PAOK achieved a historic victory over Ghent and ceremoniously qualified 2-2 against the Belgians. His achievement is already historic as he reached the quarter-finals of a European tournament for the first time since the 1973/74 Cup Winners’ Cup.

This victory is a milestone in the European history of the biceps, as it was the 80th success in UEFA competitions. PAOK also has 61 draws and 73 losses in 214 official European matches, scoring 288 goals.

In fact, yesterday the “architect” of the qualification, Razvan Lucescu, became the first participant in European matches in the history of PAOK, surpassing Angelos Anastasiadis. The Romanian coach trained biceps for the 28th time in Europe with a record of 13 wins, 5 draws and 10 losses. After his team’s qualification, Lutsescu will reach at least 30 European games with PAOK.

This year is undoubtedly the longest-running European biceps journey, which began on August 3, 2021 with the first game against Bohemians and will definitely last at least until April 14 for 254 days. Of course, as no one can be sure of the form of Lutsescu’s team, it should be stressed that PAOK will wear their European suit for a total of 294 days if they go all the way to the end and the final on May 25th.

Thessaloniki team has already managed to reach 5 qualifiers in one season for the first time in their history. Starting from the 3rd qualifying round of the tournament with the Irish, the playoffs in August with Rijeka, the group matches of the tournament and then the intermediate stage with the exclusion of Midtjylland and Gent at 16. And apparently he has no desire to stop.. .
