According to the Albanians, Austria is also a candidate for the final of the Conference League

The crisis in Albanian football has left open the possibility of changing the venue of the Conference League final from being played at the Arena Kobetare in Tirana as originally set by UEFA, with a change of venue considered entirely possible.

The Albanian website “newsport.al” states, among other things, that it is considering Austria as the final candidate. On the one hand the Ernst-Happel in Vienna and on the other hand the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg. Referring to the blow Albanian football is about to suffer, the Albanian ‘Standard’ website stresses that “Greece is preparing to host the conference league finals launched by the Albanian political scene, giving a gift to Greeks“.

Of course, it’s not the first Albanian media to mention the possibility of the final being postponed in our country, as Albanian journalist Eno Skartso estimates there’s a 90% chance that he’ll come to Greece.

It is recalled that our country, North Macedonia and France together with Albania claimed the finals of the conference league. It is not excluded that it will be transferred to any of the above two countries, except our last one.
