Marseille Ballerdi has had an operation and will not play against PAOK
Leonardo Ballerdi went through the OR door, which means the season is over for him and he won’t play in the two games against PAOK, as reported by Provence.
Without Leonardo Ballerdi, Marseille meets PAOK (7/4-14/4) in the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League.
The 23-year-old Argentine defender walked through the practice door on Wednesday (23/3) to fix a problem on his left shoulder. According to La Provence, he misses the season as he takes three to four months to recover.
He dislocated his shoulder about seven months ago and has had problems ever since. The operation was actually planned after the end of the season, but was accelerated.
However, Ballerdi wanted to entertain the impressions with his photo on social media. “Yes, Doctor? Am I allowed to leave the hospital? The road to recovery has begun‘ he wrote specifically. The Marseille centre-back has made 24 appearances in all competitions this season.
