Lucescu: “Historical moment for PAOK games against Marseille”
Razvan Lucescu emerged from the middle of his home country as “the best Romanian coach of March” and in his statements emphasized that PAOK is approaching the level that was in his first term in Toumba.
Romanian media have appointed Razvan Lucescu as their March coach based on his team’s results. PAOK had 5 wins and a draw last month and the 53-year-old coach also spoke about these results after the games against Marseille in the Quarterfinals of the Conference League.
“March’s results are just a follow-up to the results of the last few months. We’re having a good time. We have to concentrate and watch every game.
I think it’s one of the best years in PAOK’s history as we have the opportunity to play in three tournaments for the first time in the club’s history: the league, the cup and the quarter-finals of a European tournament.
But most importantly, PAOK is gradually becoming an invincible team again. We’re playing Marseille for the quarter-finals of the Conference League in a historic moment for PAOK.
“I don’t want to venture to say what we can win, but it’s clear that in some ways it’s close to what we’ve achieved in recent years.” stressed the biceps trainer.
