PAOK has started its preparations for Thursday’s match in Marseille against Marseille (7/4, 22:00, COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE by Sportish) for the Quarterfinals of the Conference League. Angel Crespo trained again with the rest of the team while Alexandrou Mitritsa returned to Thessaloniki and overcame the coronavirus.
The Romanian striker, who was diagnosed with positive coronavirus the day after the game between his federation and our national team, started a special program to be ready at the velodrome.
“The game against Panathinaikos is already a thing of the past and PAOK’s full focus is now on the two games against Marseille that will decide qualification for the semi-finals of the 2021-22 UEFA Europa Conference League.
The players who played as key players against Panathinaikos went through a release and recovery program. The rest of the group worked on drills around passing, fitness and tactics.
Alexandrou Mitrica returned from Romania and made an individual reintegration program to return after Covid19.
Giannis Michailidis is in Portugal where he underwent surgery to repair the cruciate ligament he sustained in the match against PAS Giannina. The surgery was successful and the bicep retractor will immediately begin the first phase of post-operative recovery.
On Tuesday (05.04) PAOK will train at 11:00 a.m. in Nea Mesimvria“, says the Dikefalos newsletter.
