3,300 PAOK fans in Marseille by Thursday, increased measures by the French authorities

The first friends of PAOK will be in Marseille from Tuesday (4/5), where most of the Dikefalos fans will arrive from Wednesday (4/6) and especially from Thursday (4/7).

PAOK had 3,300 tickets available that quickly sold out, while flights from Macedonia Airport are normal and the fans of the team who will be at the Velodrome can easily travel to Marseille.

The match against Marseille (April 7th, 10:00 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE by Sportish) was designated by UEFA as a high-risk game and security measures on the pitch will be particularly tightened.

And these are not just limited to the Velodrome – where there are arrangements for the transfer of Greek fans who have tickets to other goals in the visitors’ gallery – but also in the city of Marseille in the last 24 hours before the game.

According to French media reports, there is a special police plan for increased patrols, but also for the movement of Greek fans in the stadium, which will be carried out with buses specially chartered for the occasion.

The French police will be present in the city center, at public transport stops and generally wherever there is a possibility of finding fans to prevent any possibility of incidents.
