With Crespo and Mitritsa in Marseille
Both Crespo and Mitritsa are in the 22-man PAOK delegation that will travel to Marseille for Thursday’s (7/4) game against Marseille.
Razvan Lucescu spoke in his press conference on Wednesday (6/4) at 12.00 in Toumba with a view to Thursday’s match against Marseille (7/4, 22:00, COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE from Sportish) for the Conference League and said he had no competition problem other than Giannis Michailidis.
A little later the truth was confirmed when the Romanian manager announced the mission that will travel to Marseille and that included Crespo, Mitritsa and Lyratzis who were left out for the playoff game against PAOK.
Lucescu took 22 players with him and only non-UEFA players like Sastre, Varela and Zampa, who were ineligible, were left out.
The relevant press release states:
“PAOK faces a different European evening as a major challenge that gives football a different color. Dikefalos travels to France to face Marseille in the quarter-finals of the 2021-22 UEFA Europa Conference League.
The team’s last training session took place on Wednesday morning (April 6th) at the Toumba Stadium and was dedicated to the regular course of the game in the velodrome, with a particular focus on the static phases.
