Tensions and incidents erupted between French police and PAOK fans in Marseille. Class defense measures taken by the local police are particularly high, but they have not held out as they appear to have been able to end tensions in the French city. French police say their men intervened to prevent incidents between PAOK and Marseille fans and used tear gas to avoid clashes between groups of fans trying to reach each other.
