Marseille Police provided 24 buses for PAOK fans
Under pressure from PAOK FC, the Marseille police have allocated 24 buses to the Velodrome for the needs of Dikefalos fans.
Tonight PAOK will be hosted by Marseille (April 7th, 10:00 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE by Sportish) for the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League.
A few hours before the start of the game, the transfer of fans from Dikefalos to Velontrom caused a stir. The police decided to do it do not allow the organized transfer of the main volume of fans of the Greek team to the Marseille headquarters.
Finally, after the pressure from PAOK FC was stifled, it was decided to provide a total of 24 buses to transport Dikefalos fans en masse and reduce the risk of clashes.
The situation in Marseille is quite tense. Episodes broke out between PAOK and Marseille fans on Wednesday evening (April 7). French police announced the arrest of two Greeks and a police spokesman said six of his colleagues were injured.
