Marseille vice-mayor: ‘UEFA shouldn’t have allowed PAOK fans to come’
Marseille’s deputy mayor in charge of the sports sector, Sebastien Zimbragel, argued that UEFA should not authorize the transfer of PAOK fans to the south of France as they alone are responsible for what has happened in the past few hours.
The deputy mayor of Marseille and deputy mayor Sebastien Zimbragel said in statements to French TV broadcaster BFM that UEFA would allow PAOK fans to travel to Marseille for the game against Marseille (7/4, 10 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE by Sportish ). He even claimed that she was responsible for what happened in the city.
“I’m angry with UEFA for allowing these fans to come to our city. I believe that UEFA bears full responsibility for what happened today.
I hope he will continue with similar penalties so they don’t happen again. A football game is a celebration, but in this case it was a ruined party.”, said Zimbragel, who is responsible for the city’s sports sector.
