RMC Sport: “Four Arrests in Episodes Outside the Velodrome”
According to the French RMC Sport, in episodes that broke out before the start of the Marseille-PAOK game (April 7, 10 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE by Sportish), four arrests were made outside Velontrom. The three concern fans of the French team and a Greek.
Before the start of the game, there were incidents between PAOK and Marseille fans in the vicinity of the Velontrom (7/4, 22:00, COSMOTE SPORT 2 HD and LIVE from Sportish).
According to RMC Sport, there were four arrests. Specifically, three fans of the French team were arrested for violence and a Greek fan who tried to bring smoke onto the field.
According to the same source, police said the worst was averted as there were no major incidents between fans of the two teams. Authorities used tear gas to disperse the crowd.
