Lorenzo Pellegrini referred to the poor condition of the Bodo Glimt Stadium, at the same time he complained that the home coach had attacked the Roma goalkeeping coach.

The Roma returned to Norway a few months after the six they received from Bodo shine into the group stage of the Europa Conference League and only managed to reduce the extent of the defeat in the quarterfinals 1-2.

After the game’s final, Lorenzo Pellegrini stood on the field’s troubles while claiming that the Norwegian team’s coach, Khietil Knutsen, had attacked the Roma goalkeeper’s coach.

“Something really awkward just happened. Their coach attacked our goalkeeper’s coach. First he said a few things to him and then he attacked him.

It’s really sad because such behavior is an insult to Roma, to the players and their staff. It’s a shame”, claimed the leader of “jialorosi” on Sky Sport Italia.

At the same time, the 25-year-old was in the condition of the field: “Is shame to play a quarter final on a field where the ball bounces and you have no idea where it’s going to go. This shouldn’t be an excuse though, because there’s a fight in a week that we want to win.

“Now we want to send Bodo home because of what happened off the field (attack).”
