PAOK: The preparations for the “Game of the Year” have started
With no fresh problems from the game at the Velodrome, PAOK are gearing up for Thursday’s big game against Marseille in Toumba.
With just one defeat against the freshly operated Giannis Michailidis, PAOK in Toumba (April 14, 10 p.m., Cosmote Sport 2 and LIVE by Sportish) started preparing for the second quarter-finals of the Conference League with Marseille.
Razvan Lucescu, who gave his players a break yesterday, has no injury problems to contend with after the Velontrom game. His key players, who played in France, went through a recovery program while the rest worked regularly.
“The first game in Marseille showed a lot of things. For PAOK, that there is no reason to fear Marseille if it’s the right one. For Sampaoli’s team, that qualification is not guaranteed without a game. And that in Toumba is judged.” not entirely because of the atmosphere, but because the two teams have now καλύτερα calculated better with each other.
The French have a 2-1 lead and PAOK at least 90′ to reverse it. Without losing anything.
On Friday (08/04) the players took a breather after the demanding game in Marseille and returned to work on Saturday morning (09/04).
Those who were on the starting grid in the Velontron underwent a recovery and rehabilitation program in the stadium and gym.
The rest took to the field for a training session dedicated to moving the ball. After the warm-up, the technical staff prepared a series of drills focused on passing, while the last part showed a double-edged sword.
Injury problems from the game in Velontrom did not arise as the name of Giannis Michailidis is the only one in the medical record.
On Sunday (10.04) PAOK will train at 11:00 in Nea Mesimvria “says the Dikefalos newsletter.
