Ever since I joined Fenerbahçe, I have seen how passionate our fans are. I followed our matches from the stands when I was injured, but on the field the situation is different. I cannot describe the emotions I felt after scoring a goal in the last match. The fans are incredibly supportive of our team, there is always a great atmosphere here.

In recent years, I have not experienced injuries that have deprived me of football for a long time. But as soon as I moved to Fenerbahce, I got injured. Of course, staying away from the team is not easy. We did our best to speed up the treatment. In the first matches after recovery, I was not in the best shape physically, it is normal that it takes some time to return to the previous state. I’m not 100 percent ready yet, but I’m working hard on my form.

It was sad for us to be eliminated from the Champions League by Dynamo. I think we deserve a better result in these matches. But now we will meet the people of Kyiv at another tournament, and already at another stage of the season. It is important to start the group tour with a win.
