Dynamo overshadows Lucescu’s European Cup anniversary
Mircea Lucescu played his 50th match in the Europa League (UEFA Cup) with Ukrainian clubs. He became the second coach to reach this milestone after Miron Markevich.
Shakhtar played in 45 games under the guidance of Romanian coach and 15 games played by Dynamo in this tournament. With Lucescu, the Ukrainians had a total of 25 wins, 12 draws and 13 losses, scored 78 goals, conceded 46 goals.
