Masoura’s huge chance to score Olympiakos’ second goal in Freiburg
Olympiacos scored the second goal against Freiburg in the 23rd minute when they produced a quick counterattack, Masoura dribbled past the opposing goalkeeper but volleyed the ball out of the box and into the side netting.
Olympiacos ‘picked up’ his friends when they scored the opening goal in the 17th minute with El Arabi at home in Freiburg and a little later drove mad with Giorgos Masoura to make it 2-0.
It was in the 23rd minute that the Reds and Whites defended, Embila clearing the ball and supplying Gary Rodríguez who knocked out Cape Verde winger Masoura and the Greece international dribbled away from the opposing goalkeeper but sent the ball wide with a sidekick from the Network.
