Juventus: UEFA is conducting its own investigation and is threatening sanctions

UEFA has announced that it has launched an investigation into the Juventus case and will not hesitate to terminate the agreement with the Italians if it is found that they have presented incorrect balance sheets.
Juventus finances are at the center of three separate investigations that could lead to severe sanctions for the “Bianconeri” and have already led to the resignation of the entire board.
The Turin Prosecutor’s Office and the National Commission for Listed Companies are investigating the finances of the case of capital gains allegedly made by the club through certain transfers, as well as the case of wages “donated” by footballers during the pandemic.
In the first case, it is difficult to find evidence of guilt, but the ANSA news agency supports the second case “clear offense” and for “strong elements”.
A third probe into the club’s finances was announced by UEFA’s Financial Control Authority on Thursday. According to the statement, Juventus and UEFA reached a compromise on August 23, 2022 based on the balance sheets presented by the Italians for the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 financial years.
According to UEFA, the European Confederation reserves the right to terminate the agreement, take legal action against Juventus and punish them under financial fair play conditions if their investigation reveals that the dates are incorrect.
The severity of the potential penalty will depend on the magnitude of the discrepancies between the accounts on file and the true picture of the club’s finances.

Alexander KHATSKEVICH: “I give Dynamo two for the European season”

Former Dynamo Kyiv coach Oleksandr Khatskevich praised the team’s performance in European cups this season:
“Dynamo failed. They did not complete the most important task of getting out of the not-so-strong group of the Europa League. What can I say – what was the quality of the game, such is the result. Lucescu says that Dynamo has a young team, 11 players left in a year, but I can give my own example.
When I took over Dynamo, we left 11 players who were not in the last roles: Koval, Vida, Khacheridi, Morozyuk, Rybalka, Yarmolenko, Antunesh, Moraes, Gonzalez, Mbokani. But we also solved our problem in European competitions with the youth: we left the group, we passed the first stage of the playoffs.
Therefore, Lucescu need not complain about the fact that 11 people have left. For this he and the head coach – to give results. All laurels went to Lucescu when Dynamo won the title. Now almost the same players remained, they did not leave immediately. However, the quality and results that Dynamo has shown are not satisfactory. All due respect to Dynamo but for the European season I will give them a duo.

VAN NISTELROOY: Feyenoord 7-1 Shakhtar? I blinked twice when I saw the bill.”

PSV head coach Ruud van Nistelrooy commented on the performance of Dutch teams in European competitions this week, highlighting Feyenoord’s 7-1 win against Shakhtar.
“I didn’t watch the matches. [«Фейеноорда» в Лиге Европы и АЗ в Лиге конференций]. Only results, because I was preparing for a fight with Vitesse. Fortunately, you can review these games and I will too. But what Feyenoord and AZ have done is impressive. Especially 7:1 Feyenoord. If you can do that at this stage of the Europa League: it’s really impressive. I had to blink twice when I saw the result,” van Nistelrooy said.
PSV is currently 4th in the Dutch Eredivisie standings. Van Nistelrooy’s team is 6 points behind Feyenoord, 3 – Ajax and 1 – AZ.
