Jimciti: ‘After my two goals at Olympiakos, I suggest myself as a striker’
The great protagonist of the fall of Atalanta at the expense of Olympiacos, Berat Jismiti, did not hide his joy at the victory of Bergamasco, stressing that they had a long time to celebrate in front of their audience.
Olympiakos went to the dressing room at the break after taking the lead through Ticinio’s goal in the 16th minute, but was hurt by the static stages in the second half, with Atalanta taking advantage of two corner kicks in 61′ and 63′ and clinching the win goal scorer Berat Jimshiti scored twice.
“After completing the first part, we chatted and said it was time to claim victory in a match at our headquarters,” The Albania international first explained in the Italian “Sky” to continue meaningfully:
“After the two goals I scored, I suggest being the striker. Jokes aside, I hope Muriel isn’t serious because he’s important for us.
“I’m happy about this home win, which we missed for a long time.”
