Vatslik: “The team that will survive tomorrow will achieve a lot in the tournament”
Thomas Vatslik explained in the press conference before the game against Atalanta (February 24th, 7.45 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 3 HD and live from Sportish) that every team that comes close to the “16” has the prerequisites to achieve a lot in the Europa League.
Thomas Vatslick at the press conference before the match between Olympiacos and Atalanta (24/2, 19:45, COSMOTE SPORT 3 HD and Live from Sportish), stated, among other things, that both teams have quality and whoever passes will achieve a lot at the event.
At the same time, he emphasized that his team has adapted very well to the systems of three or four, while it doesn’t matter that Atalanta has several failures in attack, as they have enough quality in the squad.
Details of what Vatslik said: For the trio or the quartet how safe it feels: “It’s the same with us. In some games we play with three, in others with four in defence. We have the quality to adapt to both systems and we are ready“.
For the motivation to keep zero and the presence of the world: “First of all, I’m looking forward to seeing the fans out on the pitch. It’s going to be great, we need your help and support. It will be a difficult game, I don’t remember the last game where Atalanta didn’t score. It will be a challenge, we saw in the first game that they are a good team with quality. We are ready to face them and give everything“.
For Atalanta’s problems in attack: “I spoke to Muriel after the game, they made a change and a good player came in, it was ok. It’s not easy for a team to lose two forwards, but it’s a team with solutions and we can’t say we’re relieved“.
What do you think of Atalanta and Olympiakos’ future experiences at the institution: “Atalanta will be eliminated tomorrow (laughs), the team that passes tomorrow will do well afterwards. Both teams have quality, they have fans. You can do beautiful things in the event“.
What is the secret of such challenges?: “The secret is to believe, to give everything. It’s a tough event, you see the names that are in the event like Barcelona, Atalanta, Dortmund. To believe and to give 100%. I also think that with the final in Seville it will be a nice event no matter which teams get there“.
