The mystery of the “16” phase of the Europa League is solved after the play-offs have been completed. Check out the teams taking part in the event and the groups that will be placed in the draw on Friday (02/25).
The Europa League ’16’ draws have been completed, revealing the sides who will advance in Europe’s second-placed inter-club competition.
The teams that qualified first from the group stage were placed in the strong group, while the teams that qualified via the ties were placed in the weak group.
The first matches will be played on March 10th on the pitches of the weak, while the rematch will be played on the pitches of the strong. The only restriction on “no tie” is that the teams must be from the same country.
