Lucescu’s performance this year is even more difficult than the double

Lucescu made his second trip with PAOK and looked great after making bold decisions and managing to turn it into a successful season, a year that created the conditions to become disastrous. Charlie writes.

PAOK achieved a major qualifier against Midland. Razvan Lucescu’s side started the game very well, scoring two big goals and taking the lead in the 28th minute.

The move of the cunning Zivkovic without the ball

In the 20th minute Zolak was kept alive, a deep ball which the Midland defender failed to convert properly gave the cunning Zifkovic a clever pass and it was 1-0.

Aside from Zuninio’s false save and Tsolak’s pass, all the money was in the way the Serbian winger moved. How he used the space he took up to help his teammate pass the ball to him, but at the same time created a clear field for himself to score.

Zifkovic’s charisma is great working as a second striker. Not only a solid education, but also his vigilance and dedication are in demand.

The leader guarded another masterpiece

Six minutes later, old Vierinia appeared. The PAOK captain has managed to make his mark with another great goal in beauty, importance but also in difficulty in a season that, according to his overall picture, heralds the end of his career.

It matters more than what he achieved because he put it at a time no one expected he still maintains a footballing masterpiece. It may be the last, it may or may not, nobody knows anymore.

From the moment PAOK got a qualifying result, Lutsescu’s players went to the logic of management.

From the 75th-90th minute it didn’t work properly

PAOK worked flawlessly for a very long time. He tried to secure qualification through his own possession of the ball. Through the control that Lucescu wants to give his footballers. They did well until the 75th minute.

At the start of the last quarter, the logic worked to keep the score and play from low yards behind the ball. In this condition, he received a bad grade. He made Midland’s players take off, they mostly developed from the right flank and in the third attempt to get the ball into the PAOK penalty area in this way, the score was reduced to 2:1.

The second chance and the complete game of Tsolak

Then we saw a lot of coke. The more tired PAOK got, the more their game went into big passes for the Croatian striker. Tsolak left PAOK with the stamp of the failed as a coat. He went to Malm and showed that he is a better striker than we believed in our country and he showed us.

On his return he found a coach who believed in him and suddenly space was made for him to play. PAOK didn’t get a great season from either of their two forwards anyway. Lucescu is a coach who plays with a forward all the time but makes sure to use both in all games.

It makes sense to end your games with a fresh striker. Then came the sale of Swinderski, so it was only natural that Zolak would get another chance. Suddenly, Akpom’s injury left him alone.

Lucescu, who doesn’t even complete 90 minutes with the same striker, had to let Colak die on the field. The game was really devastating for the Croatian striker. Especially when he went into extra time, his teammates looked to him as a lifeline. They were constantly looking for him, big balls were thrown at him and we saw Tsolak sometimes succeeding and sometimes not trying to get out first in the ball to keep his team high.

It was a really full game, the Croatian striker did a lot to help his team achieve this success. Qualification was judged on penalties, which Lucescu’s players showed with personality.

He took out the thorn

Qualifying PAOK is important for many reasons. I remind you that in Lutsescu’s first period it was a thorn in his side that PAOK was not doing well in Europe. It was the only thing missing from that time. This year, discrimination in Europe was the target.

Most important of all, it comes in a season that has set the stage for it to fail. Not far away the game with Mars. On November 28, the PAOK mission left Toumba with the help of the police.

A week later came the defeat in Nice and then the clouds thickened. Everything showed that the year turns with nothing. In fact, there were reports that PAOK’s collaboration with Razvan Lutsescu ended prematurely.

He found the courage to unsubscribe

The Romanian coach proved that the many zeros in his contract are no coincidence. He did something very difficult. The same coach who started the season put together a mismatched squad over the summer.

Lucescu showed a rare coaching flexibility. It worked as if it had been replaced. As if someone else had taken his place and had to make different decisions than he did.

He’s reconsidered his own views, canceled himself, made many decisions, and turned the year around. He changed the game plan, left out Varela, Esiti, reduced the time and role to Vierinia, El Kaddouri, Schwarb.

He found formations that Biseswar did not have on the field. He gave Lyratzis, Tsigaras space and time. He understood that it was necessary that Augusto was on the field. He created the conditions for Kurtic to become the new leader of PAOK on the field.

He has thus created a new racing reality in the current season. A new reality that initially saved PAOK’s season and now we see that the conditions have been created to make it successful.

What he has achieved this year is more difficult

What Lucescu has achieved is very rare. In his very first season, with the double, the undefeated championship, he wrote his name in golden letters in the club’s history. What he has achieved this year is more difficult.

If everything works clockwise, success is easier. There was also a feeling that the organization of PAOK was working perfectly at that time, the administration had decided to do everything in their power to win the championship and Lucescu was the lucky one who was in the right team at the right time .

Of course, things are never that simple, the coach’s contribution is always important when it comes to success, especially when we’re talking about a team that has won their first double in their history and their first championship in 35 years.

Lucescu, however, manages to overcome the difficulties this year. He managed to reverse the situation to a point where the conditions for something like this no longer seemed to exist. This year’s success proves that all teams who wanted to compete with Olympiacos were right to lay a carpet of money and it was their first choice.

Savvidis won the auction and was rehabilitated. Because Lutsescu is the only coach who has managed with his job to pick up on the mistakes and omissions that started in previous years and continued last summer. The ship changed course, put it in a calm calm sea and now the second voyage with it looks wonderful.

Vasily Kobin could go to Dnepr and play in the Europa League final

football journalist Igor Tsyganyk He told the details of the long-standing transfer story regarding the possible transfer of Vyacheslav Kobin to Dnepr.

According to him, when Dnipro club had to choose between Artem Fedetsky and Vyacheslav Kobin, Kobin was the first choice to strengthen the squad.

Tsyganyk stated that the football player could really be transferred to Dnieper and noted that they made him an offer in the first place. According to the journalist, in the event of such a transfer, Kobin could even play in the 2015 Europa League final, but ultimately the transfer did not take place.

The journalist emphasized that the failure of the transition was not related to financial conditions. According to his information, salaries in Shakhtar and Dnepr were approximately the same. The reasons why the transfer did not take place lie on a different level, but the details of this situation are not reliably known.

According to Tsyganik, Dnepr considered Kobin as a priority option, but the transition was never implemented. Artem Fedetsky played for Dnepr from 2012 to 2016. In the 2014/15 Europa League final, Dnepr lost to the Spanish team Sevilla (2:3).
