Modric urges Eidracht Jakic to ban Barcelona from Europa League
Luka Modric has asked his compatriot and Eintracht player Christian Jakic to do everything to exclude Barcelona from the Europa League quarter-finals. The 24-year-old Croatian keeps his promise.
On Tuesday evening (December 4th) Real celebrated a place in the semi-finals of the Champions League against Chelsea, but Luka Modric needs a little more to feel completely satisfied.
The Croatian midfielder, who didn’t forget the four from Barcelona in last March’s Clasico, urged his compatriot and national team-mate Kristian Jakic to do whatever it takes to eliminate Eidracht from the Europa League’s Blaugrana.
The 24-year-old kept his promise on Thursday (April 14), and Montrich rushed to comment below his post: “Congratulations. You kept your promise.” To which Jakic replied: “With the When the game was over, I immediately thought of you. “Thank you, boss.”
