David MOYES: “We’ve lost so many opportunities”
English “West Ham” coach David Moyes commented on the defeat of the German “Eintracht” (1:2) in the first leg of the Europa League 1/2 final.
“We didn’t see what we wanted. We didn’t play well enough to get a result, but there are still chances. We will go to the second stage and we will try our best to reach the final.
I didn’t make any big changes after the first goal. I think we deserved to be back in the game and we could have done it if we had shown enough quality in the last third of the game, but we didn’t. We started the second half very slowly and missed the second half.
We missed too many opportunities to create luck. We should have created more, we could move the ball better. He missed some good moments in the penalty area. “We’re going to have to do more next week,” Moyes said.
The return match will be played on 5 May in Frankfurt.
