VAN BRONKHORST: “We will do our best to reach the final”
Scottish “Glasgow Rangers” head coach Giovanni van Bronkhorst shared his expectations against German “Leipzig” from the first match of the Europa League 1/2 final.
“Of course it’s great to reach the semi-finals in the European Cup, but now we have to beat a strong opponent. We watched many Leipzig matches and we prepared well. We have two very difficult matches ahead of us, but we will do our best to reach the final.
We want to attack and create chances. You have to do the right things at the right time. During the match there will be parts where you have to defend, but we will look for dangerous moments to score goals. “This is the semi-final of the Europa League, so the level is very high,” said Van Bronkhorst.
Leipzig-Rangers match will be played on Thursday, April 28. It starts at 22:00 Kyiv time.
