Shakhtar named the city where European Cup matches will be played in the spring
Shakhtar Donetsk will continue to play its home matches in the 2023/2024 European Cups at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg, Germany.
The official website of the Pitmen reported this and announced the sale of tickets for the first home European Cup match of the spring stage of the 2023/2024 season. However, it is unclear in which tournament Shakhtar will continue to play before the final round of the Champions League group stage; If the Pitmen win the away game against Porto, the Pitmen will advance to the play-offs. Otherwise (draw or win for the “dragons”) of the most prestigious club tournament in Europe, the Donetsk club will play in the Europa League in the spring.
