PAE Olympiacos says in a new announcement that it will appeal to Greek and European courts against Economy Ministers Katsafados and Vroutsis over the decision to close the stadium in the match against Batska Topola.

PAE Olympiakos Piraeus launched a new attack on the government with the new announcement of closing the stadium for the match against Batska Topola.

The Red and Whites respond to sources from the Ministry of Citizen Protection and Sport who state this “uhIt is within the sovereign discretion of the Greek state to decide whether to hold sports competitions behind closed doors if they are actually considered high-risk.

“The history – particularly the murderous attack on police officers, for which there was a confession – fully justifies this measure in this case.”

Olympiacos emphasizes that there will be an appeal in the Greek and European judiciary against the economy ministers Katsafados and Vroutsis because of their decision.

PAE Olympiacos’ announcement:

“The response leaked by the Ministry of Citizen Protection and Sports is obviously not an answer and does not answer any of PAE OLYMPIAKOS’ questions.”

They say it is your “sovereign right” to close any stadium due to high risks.

We ask you again: why didn’t you close the volleyball court yesterday where there was a European game with fans present, and why didn’t you close the basketball court for Friday (OLYMPIACOS-VALENTHIA)? Why don’t you close the other football stadiums tomorrow (Panathinaikos – Maccabi Haifa and PAOK – Helsinki)?

Do you have any evidence that “high risk” is unique to Olympic football? If so, bring it to light. Everything in the light.

Can you tell us about the commercial areas (suites, restaurants) that will not be connected to the platforms if they remain open?

Will you answer the questions of ours and our millions of fans or will you stick to your “sovereign right” which you exercise by clearly discriminating against the OLYMPIAN and his world?

It is a question of democracy and OLYMPIAKOS will defend its rights by appealing before the Greek and European courts against Ministers Economou, Katsafados and Vroutsis, who made these decisions and carried out unacceptable discrimination between Greek citizens.

We invite you to react even at the last minute and withdraw your decision.”
