PAE Panathinaikos: “We will take legal action against those found to be harming the team through their behavior”

PAE Panathinaikos stressed in an announcement before the game against Maccabi that it would take legal action against those who harm the team with their behavior.

On Thursday evening, Panathinaikos (December 14th, 7:45 p.m., COSMOTE SPORT 3 HD) welcomes Maccabi Haifa for the final game of the group stage of the Europa League.

The Greens informed their fans about the current status of spectator numbers in the stadium He emphasized that he would take legal action against those whose behavior harmed the team.

The relevant information in detail: “Friends of Panathinaikos, Tonight our team has a crucial game in the group stage of the Europa League, against the Israeli Maccabi Haifa, whom they will host at the “Apostolos Nikolaidis” at 7:45 p.m. A game that will take us to European presence and next February!

In order to achieve the desired result and qualification, we need your support! But be careful: tonight’s game is classified as high risk by UEFA, which is why a security observer from the European association is also there. Furthermore, the adversarial nature of the game entails additional security measures from the Greek police. This means, on the one hand, that the controls will be thorough and therefore time-consuming, and on the other hand, that the behavior of fans in the stands of “Apostolos Nikolaidis” will be constantly monitored.

Smoke generators, sparklers, fireworks, banners with political messages and lasers are strictly prohibited in the stadium. Staying on the internal stairs of the doors and any inappropriate behavior are also prohibited and constitute actions that can endanger our team!

In all of this, UEFA is very meticulous and in the event of negligent behavior, our team is extremely likely to be punished. It should be noted that PAE will take strict measures to protect the club’s interests and take legal action against those who cause harm to the team through their behavior.

Regarding the proper attendance of fans in the stadium, the following is announced:

  • The stadium gates open three hours before the start of the game, i.e. at 4:45 p.m.
  • Gates 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 on Tsoha Street will remain closed from 6:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. for security reasons.
  • After the end of the game, the sports fans who will be at gates 8,9,10,11,12 will leave the pedestrian area of ​​Filimonos.
  • By decision of the Greek state, the physical control of fans entering the stadium gates will now be carried out by the Greek police.
  • In order to avoid overcrowding and to more effectively manage the number of fans entering the stadium, six (6) pre-checkpoints will be used to check tickets and identity.

The preliminary tests are as follows:

  • Streets: Armatolon and Klefton & Panathinaikos

Pre-check 2

  • Streets: Filimonos and Tsocha

Pre-check 3

  • Streets: Tsocha & P. ​​​​Kyriakou (on Tsocha)

Pre-check 4

  • Streets: P. Kyriakou & Tsocha (on P. Kyriakou)

Pre-check 5

  • Streets: P. Kyriakou & L. Alexandras

Pre-check 6

  • Streets: Panathinaikou & L. Alexandras

In particular:

  • Gate 13-14 ticket holders will only go through pre-checks 1 and 6.
  • Ticket holders from gates 8-9-10-11-12 go through pre-checks 2 and 3.
  • Gate 7 ticket holders will go through pre-screening 4, while pre-screening 5 will be closed from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

At gates 1-2-3-3B-5, fans are controlled exclusively at the gates.
