Retsos: “With this seriousness we can achieve a lot”
In his statements to COSMOTE TV, Panagiotis Retsos highlighted the seriousness that Olympiacos showed after defeating Batska Topola (5-2).
Olympiakos Piraeus beat Batska Topola 5-2 and secured their ticket to the round of 16 playoffs of the Conference League. Panagiotis Retsos, who scored the header that led to the Serbs’ 4-0 own goal, spoke of his team’s seriousness.
Retsu’s statements:
On Topola’s own goal after his header: “The most important thing is victory. That’s what we’re looking at. We were unlucky with the own goal. We needed this win. We showed what we can do and that we are here. We have to continue to play dominant football.”
For the new coach: “We didn’t have time to work on the regular games. We looked more ready throughout the game because in the previous game against Backa we could have won but got a point. With this seriousness we can achieve a lot.”
To continue: “The plan is to achieve all three goals. We would like to be in Europe, but the conference is Europe with good teams. Every game is special and we want to get the three points on Monday.”
