West Ham fans travel to Barcelona because they have been waiting for Barcelona to qualify
Some West Ham fans had booked tickets to Barcelona ahead of the Europa League quarter-finals. The fact that her team is currently playing in Germany and Frankfurt instead of Spain hasn’t stopped her from making this trip to Barcelona.
West Ham meet Eintracht Frankfurt for the 2-1 second leg between them in the Europa League semi-finals.
However, according to journalist Samuel Marsden, some fans of the “Hammer” were found in Barcelona instead of in Frankfurt.
Fans were found roaming the streets of Barcelona in clothing that “revealed” they were London fans. The journalist’s explanation is obvious that the tickets were booked before the quarter-finals, obviously because they were waiting for the Blaugrana to qualify.
The fact that their side won’t play in Barcelona didn’t discourage them, but they have traveled to Spain for a holiday.
