Balakin and Derevinsky assigned for Europa League matches
UEFA appointed referees for the Ukrainian teams for two Europa League matches to be played on January 22 at 22:00 Kiev time.
He will referee the Europa League match between Ferencvaros and Panathinaikos Nikolay Balakin. For the Ukrainian referee, this will be the sixth European Cup match in his career. Viktor Matyash and Alexander Berkut were appointed as assistant chief referees, while Vitaly Romanov will serve as the fourth referee.
The Ukrainians will also be responsible for the VAR video replay system: VAR referee – Denis Shurman, VAR assistant – Dmitry Panchishin.
