The match between Dutch Utrecht and Belgian Genk was not immediately ruined by incidents in the stands. The fans of the visiting team entered the sector without checking and apparently even without a ticket, after which they started throwing chairs.
Special police officers arrived on the scene and, according to the officers, extinguished pepper spray to stabilize the situation.
A bizarre performance by the Mobile Unit in Utrecht. Some of the supporters in the away section were not properly searched (or did not cooperate in this). The away section of KRC Genk was then violently cleared in the Galgenwaard stadium. pic.twitter.com/yt51grBGGi

Initially the match was postponed for fifteen weeks, but due to the escalation of the conflict it was postponed for another year. Grass started at 10:50 PM after Kiev time (9:50 PM after Moscow time).
FC Utrecht, after consultation with the Irish arbitration, has confirmed the decision to postpone the start of the match, designating the local team as ZMI.
Before this match, Utrecht was in 32nd place on the tournament list with 1 point, and Genk in 18th place with 10 points.
