On Wednesday, 18 May, the Europa League final of the 2021/2022 season will be played by German Eintracht and Scottish Glasgow Rangers. The game will start on the field of the stadium “Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan” in Seville (Spain), starting – 22:00.
The German team had a great Euroseason, beating Fenerbahce, Olympiakos and Antwerp in the group, and Betis, Barcelona (!) and West Ham on the way to the finals in the qualifiers. The Rangers rivals look more modest – Lyon, Sparta, Brondby, Red Star, Braga … True, the Scots already have experience of victory over the Germans, and the names Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig sound even more solid than the Frankfurt team. It is therefore quite problematic to predict how events will unfold in Seville on the evening of 18 May. Let’s hope for an interesting match, although both teams like to play tricks.
