Partizan fans forced players to remove their shirts after being eliminated against AEK Larnaca
Scenes of chaos played out at Partizan against AEK Larnaca as visiting fans forced the players to remove their shirts and chanted at management after being knocked out of the Europa League.
After Partizan’s draw and Europa League elimination against AEK Larnaca, sad images saw the light of day in Belgrade.
The players were targeted by the fans, with the atmosphere getting heavier towards the end of the game. When the game was over there was chaos on the pitch and the organizers of the Serbian team pressured the players to yell against the club’s management, which they didn’t want and refused to do.
That made the situation difficult. As the soccer players approached the stands, where organizers greet them as usual, they received insults and threats, while at the same time being forced to remove their shirts.
