Dnipro-1 striker Artem Dovbik commented in the Europa League qualifying match against AEK Larnaca (1:2 loss):

– I think the score is not according to the game because we created a lot of chances in the second half and we had the opportunity to win due to our character. Our performance in the first half was not very successful, but in the second half it was good as we were able to change the situation.

– At the beginning of the second half, you created 4-5 positions, there was a crossbar. Did you feel like you could score a goal?

– Yes, it was important to be aggressive in the second half. If we had scored an early goal, maybe it would have been a completely different match.

– Oleksandr Svatok noted that there is a big difference between friendlies and official matches…

– Indeed, the team missed such matches. Probably, at first there was some kind of tension in the actions, because for a long time there were no official matches.

– There were a lot of Ukrainians in the stands today. How is the atmosphere for you?

– The atmosphere is great! This is a great compact stadium. Everything was on top!

– There have been a lot of rumors about your transition to Serie A lately. What can you say about your future? Interested in other clubs?

– There is interest, but now I’m in Dnipro-1 and preparing for the second game.
