Dnipro-1’s loss marks an “anniversary” for our clubs in LE
Dnipro-1’s loss to Cyprus AEK (1:2) marked the 200th defeat of Ukrainian clubs in the Europa League (UEFA Cup). Our teams were behind their opponents 130 times away, 68 at home and 2 at neutral ground.
Dnipro, who lost 34 matches, made the biggest contribution to the anniversary, Dinamo – 32, Shakhtar – 28, Zorya – 19, Metalist – 17, Vorskla and Chornomorets – 16 each.
