Europa League
1-0 zanga for Apollon Limassol against Olympiakos with four goals
Rangelo Zanga opened the scoring for Apollon Limassol against Olympiakos in the 18th minute, with the Cypriots already having a goal disallowed for offside.
THE Apollo Limassol sent the ball into the Olympiakos net twice in the first 20 minutes and finally Rangelo Zanga was the scorer in the 18th minute after the first goal didn’t count in the game between the two teams at GSP Nicosia for the Europa League play-offs.
Ioannis Pittas scored in the 13th minute but was ruled offside when he went behind the Red-Whites’ defence.
The same did not happen when the home team’s shot collided with the bodies of Pap Abou Cisse and Oleg Reabchiuk and landed at Zanga. The Cypriot forward beat Tomas Vatslik in the quarterfinals and opened the top scorer.
