Kavala, Panserraikos and Veria won and stayed at the head of the northern group

Kavala, Panserraikos and Veria defeated Olympiakos Volou, Apollon Pontou and Pierikos respectively and share the top of the northern group. Ialyssos took first place in the southern group.

On Wednesday (April 28th) the 8th game of the Football League continued. There is a triple tie at the top of the northern group as Kavala, Panserraikos and Veria are tied with 19 points.

Kavala prevailed 3-1 against Olympic Volos, Panserraikos defeated Apollon Pontou 3-1 without any problems. Veria also got an important double at Pierikos’ headquarters with a score of 0: 1. In the other games Almopos Arideas and Thesprotos remained 0-0, as did Kozani with Triglia.

On Wednesday (April 28th) two games were played in the Southern Club. Ialysos took first place with 14 points and more games, after a 1-1 draw with Asteras Vlachiotis away. The hosts opened the scoring in 84 ‘, but the guests were redeemed in 90 + 2’.

Rhodes are one point behind Ialyssos after Santorini were beaten 1-0 thanks to a goal from Kanoulas in the 62nd minute. Both Rhodes teams run the risk of losing their seats against Kallithea and Kalamata, who play on Thursday (April 29th, 3pm).
