Football League: Veria won the derby with Panserraikos and stayed on top
Veria won the top derby against Panserraikos (1-0) and remained at the top of the table, beating the “lions” by three points. Niki Volou also scored a remarkable win away against Santorini (1-0).
The first part of the 14th game of the Football League ended today (29/05) where we had one game for each group, with Veria beating Panserraikos 1-0 at home while Niki Volou went up with the same result Place went from Santorini.
In the top derby of the northern group, Veria prevailed thanks to a goal by Giannis Loukinas in 64′. Pozoglou committed the foul and the forward from Imathia’s team was thrown into the ball first and with his head he defeated the opposing goalkeeper.
