Mallorca fans pull down their pants to protest the game time
Mallorca fans protested their team’s playing time in the last three games (2pm) ahead of the Almeria game and three of them sent their message to La Liga president Javier Tebas by pulling down their shorts.
Mallorca have played their last three LaLiga games against Girona, Real Madrid and Almeria at 2pm CET, with the club’s spectators expressing their unease about the time given the very high temperatures on Saturday (17/9).
In fact, in the game against Girona on September 3, the temperature reached 34 degrees Celsius while the humidity reached 70%, creating a suffocating atmosphere.
Somehow, Mallorca’s fans got into trouble with the organizing authority and ended up in the “eye of the cyclone”. La Liga President Javier Tempas.
Thus, in the 14th minute of the game, the crowd turned their backs on the field and expressed their disapproval Program. Some, of course, chose a particular way to show their displeasure and that was by pulling their pants down so the message they had written on their underwear was visible.
“tempas go now” was the message they wanted to send to the President of La Liga.
