Miller: “Germany must follow Real’s example”
After Germany’s draw with England, Thomas Miller stressed that Real Madrid could serve as a role model for the national team ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, stressing that they need to regain their confidence and move on.
Germany were 2-0 down at Wembley Stadium on Monday evening (26 September) but almost lost the game when the Three Lions fired within 12 minutes. However, Havertz’s goal in the 87th minute gave his team a draw.
After the final of the game, Thomas Müller stressed that Germany had to regain their self-confidence before the World Cup in Qatar and follow Real’s example.
“Maybe Real Madrid is an example for us. I’ve played for many managers, including Carlo Ancelotti, who won the most trophies.
When things don’t go your way, it’s about getting back up and maintaining your confidence. We’d better look into that.” said Mueller.
