Lewandowski: “If I wasn’t a footballer, I would love to sing in front of people in the theater”
In an interview, Robert Lewandowski revealed what his dream would have been if he hadn’t become a footballer, surprising his fans.
Robert Lewandowski is one of the top footballers of his generation and without a doubt Barcelona’s great ‘weapon’ which has kept them in first place in La Liga, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in seven games.
But if the Polish star hadn’t chosen the world of football, what would he have wanted to do? He answered this question himself in his interview with the Polish television station Kanal Sportowy.
The 34-year-old revealed he would love to sing in the theatre, which confirms one thing about his character: he loves shows, whether on or off the pitch.
“If I wasn’t a footballer, my dream would be to sing in the theater in front of the whole world”, he characteristically said, then referring to Barcelona:
“We’re improving every week, every game I see the difference, everything’s going well. The preparation with Xavi was very intensive. I thought it would be easier. It was similar or even more difficult than with Bayern.
In Spain, the fans attach more importance to technical details than in Germany. Here they have this joy, they enjoy it. I’ve always wanted to play in La Liga, my dream was to live in Spain and not just play here. Now I feel renewed.”
