Barcelona rename their stadium “Spotify Camp Nou”.
Barcelona’s landmark deal with music distribution company Spotify will result in the rebranding of the stadium, which will henceforth be called ‘Spotify Camp Nou’, according to RAC1 radio station.
Barcelona have reached a €280m sponsorship deal over three years with music distributor Spotify.
In fact, except that The Catalans will put the company logo on their shirt for the next three years while there will be changes in the stadium and in its name in particular.
According to Catalan radio station RAC1, the official name from now on is “Spotify Camp Nou” while receiving the Spanish club around €5m a year for a stadium undergoing renovation and it’s possible for games not to be played for at least a season. In fact, this amount is expected to increase once the work is complete.
